I ran hijackthis once more and all looks well. My next step was to install Easy Cleaner. When I restarted, I ran hijackthis again to still find this program still lurking. This allowed me to quarantine the files in question and allowed me to delete the offenders manually. I did install AVG and updated the virus definitions, then started in safe mode. I can't understand how the AV doesn't see this program as a threat- time to uninstall! ![]() I was running Norton at the time, with no firewall. ![]() I just stumbled on this forum after spendig the night researching an infection of rlvknlg.exe that I got while installing some audio conversion software. ![]()
